    Default 'Last Viewed' Leads Issue

    Hello,

    I'm having some trouble with the 'last viewed' bar below the Sugar navigation links.
    When viewing any leads, instead of showing the last viewed lead, it shows a magnifying glass icon
    and the keyboard shortcut to view that lead. So, instead of seeing the lead's name I see *magnifying glass* [alt + 1]. This only happens with the Leads module, any others display fine.

    The keyboard shortcuts still work fine, I just don't know if I made this change myself and if so what setting I touched. Turns out people really like that last viewed bar, I'm getting multiple requests to fix it.

    Thank You,

    Roberto

    Sounds like the 'name' field may have been manipulated. Did you modify anything relating to the first and last name fields within the Leads module?

    I do remember making some changes to them but can't remember exactly where. I've been hunting around for them. I have backups but putting those in place would erase all my changes. Could you suggest where I might look for changes like this so I can narrow down my search?

    I really need to start keeping a changelog

    Thanks for your reply Angel

    -Roberto

    Edit:

    Found the change I had performed.

    array (
    array ('name' => 'last_name',
    'displayParams' => array ('required' => true),
    ),

    I had removed the blue text in editviewdefs.php. Adding it back does not have any effect on this.

    Could changes I made through studio cause this as well?

    Take a look at the Leads module within the customization Studio, accessed via Admin > Studio.
