Layout "Related to:" link lost in Studio

Hello to all,
I am a newbie to SugarCRM Version 5.0.0b (Build 3150) LAMP FastStack. I was in Studio moving around the "Related to:" field in the edit and detail views. Now instead of seeing my named accounts or cases, I see "Related to: Accounts" or "Related to: Cases".
I don't believe I mistakenly deleted a related field. I simply recall moving new fields on to the layout and watching the previous field go back to the toolbox.

Hi, similar problem.

After removing the "related to" fields from some views for tasks, calls and meetings in the studio and then re-adding them again, the field type seems to change.

Usually there are 2 Buttons next to the textfield: Select and Clear, in my case they both disapeared. For existing relationships the relation type (account, project-task, ..) is displayed instead of the ralated object.

I tried to rebuild everything with the repair function, but nothing happened.

Any Ideas?

There seems to be a problem with the Studio. Could it be, that by dragging&droping a field to the bin it is removed in the whole relationship?

I solved the problem by deleting all relevant files in the folder /custom
-> Grep on this folder for some new words you made changes on, to find out which files have to be removed.

PS: Make a backup of your config.php, the file simply got lost in my case
