Layouts for Advanced Search

I have a question about layouts for Advanced Search. Studio seems only to allow me to list the fields I want to be able to search on, not to lay them out (except in the sense that I'm able to determine in which order they appear).

I want to enable searching on a large number of fields. Simply listing the fields like this is very, very, messy.

Is there are way to take control of the Advanced Search layout in the way that you can take control of the layouts of the edit and detail sections (for all modules)?

Hi Will

By default the Basic and Advanced Search layout contains 3 fields in each row, right?
The fields are rendered following a specific order:

The first 3 fields in the list are displayed in the first row and so on.
This way you can take control of the layout.
