i have a strange problem with the LDAP connection to my domain (windows server 2008)

the problem is:

when i connect in a standard way (dc=domain,dc=lan) i got no problem

when i connect inside a organizationa unit with a bunch of test users (ou=SugarCRM,dc=domain,dc=lan) i got no problem

when i connect to a group (with some users from AD assigned) inside a organizational unit (cn=Sugar,ou=SugarCRM,dc=domain,dc=lan) i cannot login with the users assigned

the error is
Error: You must specify a valid username and password.

it seems that it doesn't recognize the users assigned to the group

can someone help me to solve this problem?
