Lead Fields and Info into Accounts

Hi everyone

If you have seen my previous posts then you might understand I have inherited a legacy build of the community edition that is a mess and I'm trying to sort it out WHILST learning Sugar.

Today's issue...

I've found fields that are present for Lead records, but are not present in Accounts, so when a Lead is converted the information is lost. How do I replicate these Lead-specific fields and ensure that the information is passed from the lead record to the account record?

at the moment you can only do this with custom fields. You would simply create a custom field in each module with exactly the same name. So if you have a test_field in Leads and a test_field in accounts then the data will copy from one to the other.
