Default Lead List View <> Edit (prev, next)

After a lead list has been generated (by various filters or none at all) I click on a lead to see it. Once on this lead I would like to click next or previous to move through my list. However, it appears that the Next, Previous keys view the data in a DIFFERENT order than the list it came from. There seems to be some relationship to the original list. I also tried this with contacts and found the same problem so I suspect it's a coding issue and not an index corruption. Has anyone else seen this or aware of a fix? I'm on 4.50g

Same behavior here. It seems like it is simply the way it works, not necessarily a bug.

I would submit an enhancement to allow the sorting of the list view to carry over to the detail view.
