    Default Lead permissions

In the community edition, is it possible to make leads only visible to the people they are assigned to? I have sales people accidentally calling other peoples leads.

    Thanks for any help,
    Robert

It can be implemented through Roles module.
You can create a role which enable access to Leads only for owner.
Then add some users under this role.
Go to Admin -> Repair -> Repair Roles.

Thank you. That will do it. I will read about roles then try it out.

    Thanks!

Roles are awesome, just make sure to add users to them as soon as they're created.

I see how roles can keep a user from accessing leads, very useful, but, how do I make it so Salesman A only sees Salesman A's leads and Salesman B only sees Salesman B's leads. Roles appear to be an all or none fix.

    Thanks for any help,
    Robert

That really needs to be fixed though IMHO.

Oh no no, that you must log out and back in for permissions to be updated by design of SugarCRM, it leaves a rare but decent security issue.

Totally, is there somewhere in the control panel where you can delete sessions essentially forcing a log out?
