You should be able to just open the Dropdown Editor and edit the lead_source_dom.

    Hi,

I also thought so and I know which field is the one I need to edit but in the studio I get to see the
field but it wouldn't let me edit the dropdown list, so I tried creating a new dropdown field that uses the
same dropdown list "lead_source_dom" and edit it within that field but it didn't work either because
I can add my items but I also need to delete the typical ones that are listed, the change seems to take
effect but it really doesn't, now I get to see the typical items and my items listed.

Does enyone know how to make this change so that the list "lead_source_dom" has only my items?

    Regards!!!

I may be stating the obvious but are you hitting "Save" after making your changes? If yes, then make sure the file permissions are set to allow writing to the custom directory. More info about this procedure is available if you search the forums. I find using google and searching site:sugarcrm.com provides the best results.

I found out that the changes I want to make can be done if you select the field and select "english" as displaying language but if the displaying language is "spanish" that can't be done.
Can you give me a hand for solving this, I've looked where you told me but found nothing helpful.

    Regards!!!

    Hi,

I have the same problem. (I use Polish language pack)
I was trying to delete items from the dropdown list. After making the necessary changes I clicked "save", but the changes haven't really been saved.
When I opened the dropdown editor again items that I had deleted before were still there. The only difference I noticed was that those items weren't translated into Polish anymore.

I checked the file: include/language/pl_pl.lang.php. I made my changes there, saved the file, but again nothing happened - the deleted items where still there on the list...

Then I checked this file: include/language/en_us.lang.php. I made my changes, saved the file, and IT WORKED!

So my advice (for now) is to change the en_us.lang.php file, and in the dropdown editor delete everything from lead_source_dom.

    Saludos.
