Default LEADS as a company not an indivudual possible ?

    Hello,

I posted something this morning in the thread : http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/f3/at...eseller-59961/

Thinking about our problem I find it is much larger and I do not think the solution with bypassing some feature or opportunity creation would work out.

In the field we work our clients are big companies with different persons for production/maintenance all of which able to bring something or be involved in another person opportunity or project.

Like I said we've had Sugar for 2 full months now and I sense that having Sugar see leads as individuals might be problematic in the future, for some "potential accounts" we have more than 8 leads. In our philosophy, once a company is a prospect or a client, all the people working there are contacts not leads.

So do you know if Sugar can manage leads as a company and have contacts under that Lead ? So in that way, when an opportunity arises, the Lead is converted to an account and all the contacts follow. Seems much more simple than to convert multiple leads into 1.

    Thank you

As the way sugar is designed a leas could just be a person in a company, been not possible to link many contacts to it.

Maybe you can create a relationship one-to-many with leads and contacts, but then is also needed to program the logic to transfer the related contacts when a conversion is executed.
