Can anyone assist with the problem below ?
We posted it to the BugTracker (see # 14232), which indicated that the problem had been corrected in an earlier version. There's been no response to our posting.

We had previously installed Version 4.5 and noticed the problem described above.
We just installed the 6.02 Community Edition and have noticed the same behavior.

We have imported 677 Leads records, so they have the same creation date; and have added another 20-30
records in the past two days.In viewing the list, it consistently defaults to Oldest First, not Last First.

I've been looking for a "sort order" control panel, or other feature, where I can change the sort order for this view.

Have you observed this problem in the 6.x family ?
Is there a workaround which an Admin can implement, without resorting to a programmatic solution ?
