lease help! Email with Attachment.

Dear all,

Please help !!!

I installed "Bitrock Windows Installer 4.5.0b (61.9 MB EXE) - Installs Apache, MySQL, PHP and SugarCRM on your Windows system." to Windows platform. Everything works well but I can't attach file to outgoing email. I understand that I need to set CACHE, CUSTOM, DATA, MODULE be writable to SugarCRM and I have already set them writable to "EVERYONE".

But, when sending out email with attachment (I can send email without attachment), I always get the error: "ERROR: can't move_uploaded_file to cache/upload/e23095d9-2877-4cab-310c-45188e19f9c2. You should try making the directory writable by the webserver". Please help!.

This is a known bug and looks to be fixed in 4.5.0c which will be comming out soon.

You will also have to make the directory writable by the web server user. Under Linux usually apache or nobody.
