    Default license problem

I had attempted last week to modify the footers that show up on the page. I inadvertantly violated something in the license. I attempted to restore from a backup. I have restored everything that I recall changing but I still get the message:

This copy of the SugarCRM customer relationship management program appears to have legal notices or author attributions modified or removed in violation of the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. Please contact SugarCRM Inc. to correct this problem.

How can I correct the problem?

    Hello,

If you are pretty sure, you have restored everything as it was, just login as admin(I hope you are not restricted to login as well!) and do Admin > Repair > Quick Repair and Rebuild. I hope it will resolve this issue.
    Thumbs up.

The footer customization has some rules to be followed. As far I remember you just have to keep the "powered by SUGARCRM" logo.

When you want to customize your footer, it can be done here:
    File: include/MVC/view/SugarView.php
    Function: displayFooter
