Paul ... really not sure why you need a licencing server for a product that is governed by a permissive licence ... I'm probably being thick .. can you explain the requirement in more detail

hi there
Ok we have cutomised sugar ce so heavily for a medical instetution with all theyr intelectual ip inside.
They now want to start selling their inteletual ip that is caught up in sugar to other medical doktors.
@ things needs to happen. the one i have already done is that the moment new ip gets loaded on the main server all other server will be updated with the ip.
But we load sugarce at the different dokters offices, and they get all the customisations and ip thats loaded. but needs to annually pay for new ip and support. Not the software!!!!! So monthly it needs to just like sugar pro look at a license server and see if the person is still licensed. when the licence is out of time it should then revoke passwords.
This could be done via a website but we thought it would be great for other doktors to start using sugar and then seeing how they could use the programm in their own environment.
regards
Paul.
Ahhh!! I understand ... great solution ... but I have no light to shine on this Paul ... never done licencing servers before ... the only solution I could find on sourceforge was windows specific .. but I guess you've already been therehttp://sourceforge.net/projects/activelock/
