Hello,
we are a software distributor and have recently bought SugarCRM.
SugarCRM is going to be the central heart of our total business environement.
Because we are a software distributor we have to deal with end-users and resellers.
We only sell licenses trough resellers but we need to keep track / attach the end-users.
Whats the best possible way to manage this kind of business? Because I think we have to customize SugarCRM a lot to fit our needs. Or am I wrong about this?
This is our plan:
- attach licenses to the resellers and the end-user (so we can see how many licenses have been sold etc.)
- Keep track of the renewal / maintenance licenses, that has to be renewed every year.
- Connect or integrate it with our ordering / invoicing system (maybe there is an alternative for better integration with SugarCRM??)
Like to hear from you guys what you think about this business model (Software Distribution) and how to create this in the best possible way in SugarCRM
