limit the access of one user?

I want to limit the acces of one user of SugarCRM 4.5.1b to only view his items (accounts, contacts, etc..)

how can i do that?

Hi!

You have to create new Role and assign it to your user.
In the Role You have to select view "Own" itemes.
You can create new Role in the "admin/Role Management";

you can create an role has mentioned above or else
you can directly restrict the user control while creating an new account or by editing user by loging into admin mode

Hi,

I don't have the option to do this:

Or is this not possible with the opensource version?
