Limit what employees view

I need to limit what my employees can view.

Please tell me what to change, so they view only their contacts, what they entered in system. But other employees with other privileges, can view all.

I try to set this using roles..but it doesn't work.

Also I need to limit the acces to Projects to some groups of users.

It works. It only need a logout and a login..

Take a look at teams opensource which can be found here. I am not sure if it works with 4.5.0 yet.

The Professional and Enterprise versions of SugarCRM have teams management as part of the Core Systems and work also based on reports to field so managers have access to people that report to them.
