    Default Limiting Access to Specific Records

    Hi,

    My apologies if this is a FAQ - I could not find an answer quickly.

    Is it possible to restrict a specific login to certain predefined records? What I would like to do is to assign a given user to a role or team such that the user can only see and interact with certain records in Leads and Contacts.

    Ideally the accessible records would be controlled by a custom field, but restricting the user to records associated with a particular Account would also work.

    I am using the Community Edition (6.1.2).

    Under CE it is possible by installing Security Suite.

    Thanks Andre! Looks like it is not quite up to 6.1.2 yet, but I will keep an eye on that project.
