Linkedin for contacts? not for accounts?

Hi,

I set up linkedin connector for accounts and it worked already. However, most of my clients are individual clients (not company clients) so I would like to have linkedin for my contacts too, not only account. It seems that this is not available for contacts as I have tried this but no information is displayed. Am i right? If so, how can I use linkedin connector for my contacts?

goto admin>connector settings>enable connectors

drag the modules from the right hand pane for the modules you wish to enable for linked in then "Save"

Thanks for your answer. I enabled both Account and Contact modules but it only works with Account module. I think it is true because in the connector setting, it was set to link to the company profile on linkedin: http://www.linkedin.com/companyInsid...t&useBorder=no while if the link for personal profile to be displayed should be: http://www.linkedin.com/js/public-profile/widget-os.js.

I tried to replaced the company profile link with the personal profile link but it does not work with contact module.
Can you please let me know what I should do to display the personal profile of my contacts? not my account?

Hi, It would really be great to get LinkedIn for the Contact module work as well. Will eagerly follow the hints and advice in this thread.

I am running into the same challenge. I have the Linked in connector working on account but not on contacts. Would appreciate any advice from the community. Cheers!

The LinkedIn connector cannot do that afaik. Just as a side note: This connector was presented by SugarCRM as a sort of proof of concept to show what the Connector module can do.
