    Default Linking Calls/meetings to Accounts

    Can someone please tell me how to do this???

    I have tried MANY different things but for some reason cannot get a call or meeting to show up in the Accounts tab. When I click on the accounts tab, open one of my accounts, I think I should be able to see all the activities linked to that account. OR worst case scenario, I should be able to click on the contact associated with the Account and find them there. No matter what I do, they are not there!!!

    ANY help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

    Hello,

    What version of Sugar are you using? how are you creating your calls/meetings?

    If you create them from the Activities subpanel in the Account detailview, the link between the account and the meeting/call should be auto populated. If you create the call/meeting from the subpanel of the contact detailview, then the calll/meeting will appear in the subpanel of both the contact record and the contact's account.

    If you create the call/meeting from the activities module, then you need to manually populated the Related to field.

    Are you creating them some other way? Did you install any plugins or make any code customizations?

    Do this:

    1. Navigate to an Account
    2. Scroll down to Activities Subpanel
    3. Click on "Schedule Meeting"
    4. Enter "Test" in Subject field
    5. Press Save

    What happens .... It should save the meeting and show it in the Activities subpanel!!

    Is this not happening?

    I am using sugar Professional web based.

    NO, it doesn't show up under the activities sub panel under Accounts, or Contacts. It just shows up on the Calendar. Shouldn't it be showing up under both????

    Also, even when I manually fill in the Related to field, it does the same thing as above. The only customizations I've made regarding this is that I changed the name of the tab from Accounts to Companies.
