Over the years of using SugarCRM, we have encountered quite a few times where a Lead is converted to an Oppotunity, but due to some bug or another, the Lead and Opportunity did not get linked together. Many times, we see that the Opportunity is linked to the Contact that is then linked to the Lead but there is no direct link from Opp to Lead.

Is there a way in SQL or something to run a script that will link any unlinked couple together??

I know this is a stretch since Opportunities dont have any unique field that could be carried over from a lead (like email or phone number or ANYTHING) but I was hoping there still might be a way.

Any ideas???
