Linking Projects to Contacts & Accounts

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me ...

Is there a way to automatically establish relationships between Projects and Account/Contacts?

We find that creating projects from the Project sub-panel under either Account or Contact does not result in a project that's visible from those sub-panels. Seems the default many-many relationships that exist between all three modules are not sufficient.

Has anyone seen/solved this ?

We're using v5.2 CE

Hi Brad

You should need to create a logic_hook before_save for Project, where you will check what is the parent module of the current Project. if the parent module is Contacts so you are able to identify the related Account and build the relationship between the current Project and the related Account.
