Default List view and custom fields BUG?

I posted once before with no response but a lot of people have the same problem and I am guessing it is a bug. I can add a custom field to the detail and edit views of modules with not problems. Add them to a list view and they simply don't show up. They are in the DB and the html is written just as other standard fields are but nothing. I know this info is stored in a different table but the edit and detail view seems to find it with no problems. Not sure why the list view doesn't. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Steve,

I had the same problem, and noticed that "Studio" is all bugs.
So I went and I added the fields myself, declare them and so on without forgetting that you have to look at "metadata" folder as well, and then go to Administration and Repair
    Reconstract relationships

    I hope this will help

    Good luck

After you add the fields to the list view using studio, save it then click on Advanced Search for the module in question (i.e. Cases, Accounts, etc.). Clear all of the search fields by clicking on "Clear" then click on "Search". Basically, you are doing a search that returns everything. Run the search and see if your fields show-up.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi

I ran into this issue as well. Worked with Sugar support and discovered it is an IE issue apparently. You can work around by using FireFox browser. Support guy was writing it up as a bug.
