List View - default display

Hi. I recently installed Sugar Version 5.2.0k (Build 5837).
I have previously used earlier Sugar versions, but not for a couple of years.

I notice that on standard "list" views (accounts, contacts, tasks etc.), the initial list screen does not display any records, until you do a search (e.g. Account List ... Perform a search using the search form above).

I seem to remember that previously the default was to display the entire list with no filters. Is it possible to change the default so that the list displays automatically?

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere (please point me to the thread if it has) - I have searched the forums and can't find it mentioned.

In your config.php or config_override.php look for 'save_query' and remove it. Here's more info on that optional configuration item: http://www.sugarcrm.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14126 By default it should show the list so not sure why it isn't in your case.
