List view page of any custom module does not work in 6.5.10

Hi,

when list view page of any custom module is displayed and I click on any related record (e.g. on some related Account, Contact, etc.) I get

"Error retrieving record. This record may be deleted or you may not be authorized to view it."

error. I tried to disable AjaxUI completely but it didn't resolve my problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you open these related records if you go via their modules listview?

Also, does this happen if you are logged in as an admin?

If you create new records, can you view them?

if the above work then I would look into the ACL you have this user attached to and see what restrictions are there. Also check the log file for errors, maybe there is an error and that is resulting in a false positive when it checks the ACL.

I cannot view related modules of custom module from the list view when logged in as regular user. The most strange thing is that I am able to view related module record from detail page. This does not work only for list view. No matter whether it is old or newly created record, the problem is still there.

When looking into log, there is no information about error. Not sure whether it is ACL problem, as I do not add any restrictions for regular users.

Please check Roles

go to admin > repair > repair roles.

Rebuilding Roles does not help. This probably broke when upgrading to a newer version, I suspect that some pohp files weren't merged correctly.
