    Default Load Balanced SugarCRM

    Hello,

We have a small array of application servers behind a load balancer. I can’t find anything in the documentation or help that would let me know if that architecture will cause any problems. We have a single db server, but if files are uploaded on one page load (for instance contact uploading), and later referenced by another page load… there would be problems as load balanced server A could contain the file referenced now by server B.

If any of you know the answer off the top of your head that would be really handy – I can always install it and start testing.

    Thanks,

    Sean

you may need to implement a shared filesystem for the cache/uploads directory for all instanses of the same db accessed. or use an rsync syncronize the cache/uploads dir. All files uploaded or attachments for emails are placed in the cache/uploads dir.

    Sounds good thanks!
I think it may work for us to just set up a stand-alone server.

I am pinging this thread instead of starting a new one

I can see its been answered some time ago,
Is it still true that all I would need is a common filesystem for cache/uploads directory?

    My initial question was
I use the RPath SugarCRM 5.0 appliances.
I do not know how SugarCRM deals with session, stateful information, uploaded documents

Would this be a supported configuration?
If I place 2 (or more) installs behind a load balancer and point them to a common database external to the virtual machines.
