Load Module not working with V 4.5.0f

Greetings!

I having been trying unsuccessfully for a couple days to use the Module Loader. I'm trying to load Jasper 1.3.0 and Zucker 1.6g Reports.

I can select the file and select upload but after a moment or two the screen is refreshed and the file name is cleared. No indication there is a problem and no items are listed under the install.

I have SugarCRM V4.5.0f running on a Windows XP box with Service Pack 2 under IIS 5. I have PHP 5.1.2 installed and MySQL 5.0.27.

I have set the rights of the IIS user to full control on the SugarCRM folder in wwwroot.

This installation of Sugar is for evaluation purposes and I really need to get the reporting incorporated so that the users can better evaluate the product.

I have scoured this forum and tried different things such as modifying the upload file size and time, etc.

What could be going wrong?

Hey jbrunton,

I was having a similar problem. I used the method recommend in the ZuckerReports manual and was able to install the module. The manual can be found here:

And the instructions are on page 8.

It came down to me unzipping the ZuckerReport download and removing the Jasper folder located under modules\ZuckerReports. After that I re-zipped the file structure and named the zip file back to its original name. Then I was able to upload it to SugarCRM and follow the rest of the installation directions. When it completed, I just copied the Jasper folder to the correct location in the ZuckerReports installation.

Thanks! I will try this. However, this seems like a workaround. Does the Module Upload work at all in this version of Sugar?

This solution did indeed work. Once the file was unzipped, Jasper removed and zipped back up the file uploaded without a hitch.

I have no problems with my zuckerreport. Which version did you download?

I used the ZuckerReportsCE_1.7_module_CORRECTED.zip on my sugar V4.5.1e upload module works well.....

Make sure your php.ini is amended properly..
