    Default local AND hosted?

i'm sorry if this is painfully obvious, but i haven't seen any reference yet...

i'm new to sugar, and haven't messed with php/MySQL in years. i can hack and slash through code if i need to.

my question is this. can i setup Sugar to be run on localhost so that users can utilize Sugar when on the go with no internet connection, and then reconcile with a hosted server after the fact when they can connect to the remote hosted server?

i have a test setup on a localhost now, and a remote hosted server.

Sugar Community Edition 5.2.0 (Build 5380)

    localhost:
    XP Pro SP3
    Xampp 1.7.0
    Apache 2.2.11
    PHP 5.2.8
    MySQL 5.1.30

    Hi,

WIth the Enterprise version you get an Offline Client which can also be purchased for the Pro version which does want you want and a lot more. This is not available for CE.

With CE, if you are technically adept, you could replicate the MySQL databases using MySQL tools and also sync all the sugar files between the server and the local clients.
    Cheers Malcolm
