Locating the database on a Win XP system

Hi all,
I am running SugarCRM OS 4.5.0f on an XP Home SP2 machine. I installed using the Bitrock Installer.
I would like to know where the actual database is located in the file structure and which files/directories I should include in my daily (nightly) backup job.
I noticed the backup feature in Sugar's admin tab, but I am concerned about backing up the actual database.

The database files are located in your Program Files\ sugarcrm4.5.0x\mysql\data\sugarcrm. But I am not sure if backing up these files or the sugarcrm directory will work. Try it out once and please let me know if it works.

It's set up in minutes and allows you to do all kinds of data maintenance jobs on MySql. Dump the DB and make sure that you are able to restore it again.

Sagar, what is the common data backup strategy to make sure you don't lose your company's life and blood when your server burns down ? I'm sure I'm not the first one to worry about it. Isn't there some sort of best practice ?
Anyway, I'll try to back up and retore the files you mentioned and let you know if I still have a database...

Backing up the Program Files\ sugarcrm4.5.0x\mysql\data\sugarcrm directory does the trick. When I reinstall Sugar completely with a blank database, restoring the directory restores the database.
