    Default Locked in Accounts Field

    Hello,

    When adding a new contact, I can tab from each field just fine until a name is inputted into the Account field. Once there is a name in the field, I'm locked to that field. No tab, mouse...etc. There is no leaving the field until the name is removed.

    Has anyone seen this issue, what can I try to cure this odd issue.

    How are you putting the name in the field?

    Have you removed any fields from the Contacts Edit View?

    Simply typing in either the account name or letter for auto recognition. This process works fine and the account appears, but once the name appears, can't tab out or click into another field.

    The only way to allow movement into another field is to erase the name and then all is well, however can't save the information due to missing account name.

    So once you start typing the name, does a drop down come up letting you select a current Account? You cannot enter a value in there unless it is an Account already. It will do just what you are saying if that Account doesn't exist in the Accounts module.
