Some error messages or description of the behavior you are seeing might help us better understand your problem.

All it says is Invalid User Name or Password, but I have quadruple checked both.
Hi there,
I'm taking a stab in the dark on this, but if I assume that you have downloaded and installed Sugar Community Edition (formerly Sugar Open Source) to your local machine, the login credentials for that instance have nothing to do with your login on SugarCRM.com. The login on SugarCRM.com is used for you to access the Support Portal, log onto these Forums (forums.sugarcrm.com), and log onto SugarForge.org. The login to your own instance of Sugar is dependent on what user accounts you set up, with the first (admin) account set up during the installation process.
Does this help?

I set the usernames and passwords to be the same to make things easier, yet I still cannot log in. I have tried logging in using my database name and password but that doesn't work either. I don't know what else to try.
Greetings, my first post here.. please be patient.
I'll continue in this thread rather than starting a new one.
I installed SugarCRM (open source 4.5.1, linux, mysql) yesterday and everything worked like a breeze.. until three hours ago.
Now it refuses to recognize the admin account (or any account for that matter). I simply can't log in (which i've been able to for at least the first 24 hours or so)
It seems to have happened for no obvious reason (i.e i haven't touched anything).
Being a newbie i don't really know where to look, (is there an error log anywhere f.x?).
Any kind of hint would be much appriciated.
thx
/Jonas

Continued:
Tried replacing the admin password directly in the database with
UPDATE users SET user_hash = MD5('new password') WHERE id = 1;
Still cant' log in...
Ideas, anyone?
