    Default login help

I am a new user, I just downloaded the program a couple days ago on my mac. It was working fine until today, now I can't login. It is simply saying Safari failed to open server. Forgive me for being clueless, but I have tried the limited things I know how to do and so far it has not worked. I am using the community edition and from what I know I have to enter the url that is listed in the install_summary.txt. Is that correct or am I way off? I tried activating apache, although to be honest I don't know if I am using that or not. I really am clueless. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apache is running and I must be looking in the wrong places because the only errors, or documentation of any activity, stop yesterday. I have tried accessing it multiple times today, but have not even gotten to the login screen. Below is what appears when I try to access the page. Am I simply logging in wrong?

Safari can’t open the page “http://127.0.0.1:8080/sugarcrm/index.php” because it could not connect to the server “127.0.0.1”.

[Tue Feb 24 23:32:38 2009] [error] child process 27346 still did not exit, sending a SIGKILL
[Tue Feb 24 23:32:39 2009] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down

Are you sure you had installed the apache in the port 8080?
Try to access the address http://localhost:8080/sugarcrm/index.php

I got the same result. I copies the 8080 info from the setup info in the sugarcrm folder. Would it be best to reinstall? And, if so, will I lose the info I have already entered?
