    Default Login Problem

Apparently, as of this morning, I'm not able anymore to log in with any of the users (inlcuding administrator) currently installed.
It looks like Sugar does not recognize any of the users/psw originally posted (error msg: specify a valid username or password), Sugar was working without problems and accepting all users till yesterday, so this problem is totally unexpected.
I'd rather avoid re-installing the CRM.
    Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Operating system: win xp SP2
    Sugar 4.5.1 G (originally installed "e", then updated patch "f" and "G") **
    webserver apache Version 2.0,
    PHP version 3.01
MySQL server version not able to find, Used Bitrock installer for windows from Sugar home site

    Thanks!

The msg says merge files manually, these steps have not been done: can anyone explain me how?
can this be the cause of the problem?

Usa il metodo di comparazione a te pił familiare per unire questi files. Finchč non applicherai queste modifiche il CRM si troverą in uno stato incerto e l'aggiornamento non sarą completo.

Una copia dei file sovrascritti sono nella cartella:

    C:/Programmi/sugarcrm-4.5.1e/htdocs/sugarcrm/cache/upload/upgrades/patch/SugarOS-Patch-4.5.1f-restore

    C:/Programmi/sugarcrm-4.5.1e/htdocs/sugarcrm/cache/upload/upgrades/patch/SugarOS-Patch-4.5.1g-restore

    Unisci manualmente i seguenti files:

    C:/Programmi/sugarcrm-4.5.1e/htdocs/sugarcrm/modules/Leads/SearchForm.html
    C:/Programmi/sugarcrm-4.5.1e/htdocs/sugarcrm/modules/Documents/SearchForm.html

Can you log directly into the MySQL database? If so you can double-check the users table to ensure that all users have a status "Active". You can also confirm that there are values in the user_hash field which stores the password. If there is a data issues, you can update one of the user records to include a known "user_hash" value for a known password and then try logging in at that user.

However, based on the information you provided the issue may not be data related at all. Can you setup detailed logging via log4php.properties and then inspect the logfile after trying to login?
