Login Session Error. Please Help

I need some help. I have no clue what is going on, so maybe someone can point me in the right direction so that we can get this figured out. All help and ideas would be appreciated.

Here is what is going on. If I click on logout and or during the most random moments it will show the login box within a module telling me the I have been logged out because someone else is already logged in with that username.

This session has ended because another session has been started under the same username.

and the header: index.php?action=Login&module=Users&loginErrorMess age=LBL_TOO_MANY_CONCURRENT

How many people are logged in and how many licenses have you subscribed to?

I need to disable 2 accounts but I have 15 purchased and 6 users right now. But that should still not really be a problem as I havent had this problem ever and I have been needing to disable 2 accounts for a while.

We really need to figure this out because our employees will be typing in information and all of the sudden be logged out if they hit a button etc.

Ok so by using the tracker it shows that some people are logged in twice into the system with different sessions. How would I force quit sessions? Does anyone know?

I too have started getting this error after upgrading to 5.5.4 from 5.5.2 Professional. I will sometimes have Sugar logged in with two different browsers simultaneously like on my laptop and desktop. We also have a shared account used by our admin staff for adding new contacts which this will affect. If this is new functionality, it's garbage. I need instructions on how to disable it.

I am not getting the user licenses exceeded error, just the "This session has ended because another session has been started under the same username."

Have either of you tried using the Logout option instead of just closing the browser when someone is no longer using Sugar?

And Smithni, what exactly do you mean by a "shared account?"

Angel - There are several Admin staff who interact with the system only to enter business cards and update contact details who use a common account. There is the possibility then of simultaneous transactions with Sugar.

That's part of the problem. Technically, licenses are named user and only one person is supposed to use them at any given time. It seems like Sugar has decided to start enforcing this within the software (at least based on this thread).

Only recommendation I can give you is to make sure that the various users use the logout feature when they are done and before the next person needs to use it.
