Looking to auto-add all new contacts to a campaign

I've been asked to research a way to automatically add new contacts to a newsletter mailing list. Ideally, they would like it to only apply to contacts added by the members of one group, not all users.

Any and all suggestions appreciated.

Use a logic_hook after save ... and therein simply assign it to the targetlist. Filtered by whatever criteria you want.

Thank you, that makes sense. Are there any examples you are aware of for making such an assignment programmaticly within the hook code?

download our KINAMU Reporter you find on SugarForge. Take release 2.6.1. Look into KReport.php line 594++ .. this is where targetlists are created and records are assigned.

Not a logic hook but the same issue resolved.
