    Default Lost admin access

    Hello all,

    I attempted to upgrade from 4.2.1 to 4.5 and found that our MySQL version needed to be upgraded as well. Rather than upgrade, I reinstalled 4.2.1 in a new directory and everything seemed to be back to normal. However, we've realized that users that previously had admin privileges no longer do. In the users table in the database, the admin flag is set to 1, but no joy. Am I missing something else? We can log into our user accounts with no problems, but we just don't have the admin hyperlink or privileges anymore. Do I need to do anything with a Sugar configuration file or folder permissions?

    Log out of SugarCRM, close the site then flush your browser cache. That did the trick for me.

    Max,

    Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it didn't do the trick. We have multiple users on different machines with the same problem.

    Any other thoughts from anyone?

    restart the webserver some files may be hanging arround in cache and if you are using an optimizer this may resolve that issue. The other suggestion is to unpack the full install and overwrite everything except config.php and config_override.php.
