Lost tabs, how to get them back?

Sugar CRM 4.5.1D

I have hidden a few tabs for some users in the past, simply because we didn't need to use them.
Now we decided to start using one of the tabs (documents), however since the D upgrade they appear to have been totally gone. It doesnt appear in either the Hide Tab or in the Admin Remove tabs.

The strange thing is that some users do still have it and others do not.

how do I get the lost tabs back for the affected users?

Try Admin - Repair - Clear User Tab Preferences

When I click on Repair I can see the following options, but not the referred to Clear User Tab Preferences. Is it located somewhere else?

I believe you have to go to the user's account page and click on "Reset to Default Preferences"

Thanks CRMTAMER, great idea.
I just tried it and had to set most preferences again for one of my affected users, but regretfully it did not have the desired effect.

Still the affected users are completely missing tabs like "documents"

Anybody else got some other ideas that might or preferably work for sure?
