Mail Merge from Report Results

Hi,

If I run a report on my Accounts to get a list that meet certain criteria, why is the option of a Mail Merge not given, The report allow me to filter by Teams contains key words, etc. Which is a huge part of my system..

Is it possible to Mail Merge from a report result using a workaround, besides exporting the results????

Hi Chris,

I think there is a way of achieving this using Campaigns.

A target list associated with a campaign may contain records (and reports) from a variety of modules including Targets, Leads, Contacts, Users, and beginning in 5.5, Accounts. To account for the variety of modules, there is a specific module to select for campaign mail merge templates.

This probably covers most of what you need - if there are any small bits missing, it is of course possible to write some custom code.
