mail send error

Hello,
I am currently using 4.5 RC1 , on IIS6 (Win2K3) and SQL express 2005. PHP 4.3

Sugar CRM is not sending mail out at all neither by "sendmail" Nor "SMTP" settings , in my sentmail mailbox I have a "send error" next to all my sent mails. and of course I haven't received any of the mails I sent to my e-mail address.
I have tried the php send mail function from a generic php form on the same server and it works fine!
I have also tried my SMTP server settings using a mail client on the same server and it also works fine!

This is leading me to believe that there is something in SugarCRM that needs tweaking , but I am not sure where to look?
Can anyone help please?

checkout your php.ini and make sure that your curl extensions are enabled.

Thanks for ur reply , extension=php_curl.dll is enabled.

I am a bit lost , I am beginning to think there is another PHP file in the SugarCrm folder that needs tweaking but I am not sure which one.

It is not making much sense to me that I can sendmail using a generic php form on the same server and can not send mail from within SugarCRM.

Any ideas?
