We installed SugarCRM in our company, but have two problems.
1) First, if somebody configured the mailbox, everybody can read those e-mails in "all e-mails". Nobody can find a solution to hide or configure it. The only thing is a "group user", but if you are an administrator, it is not possible to check this. On the other hand, if you check or not check "group user", everybody can read the mails.
2) Second, we want to configure the tabs, so I have configured roles, but those roles assigned to a specific test user is not restricting him to define his tabs again. Example: A developer should not use the sales-modules, so I created a "developer" group and all fields i. e. the contact field I disabled complety for him. But he can see always the tab "contact", only if it is hidden for all users in the system. Otherwise he can make it visible. In the list of users there is a column called "group" (not role). This column is never filled with values and I cannot find to set up this "group".
I think that we did not understand the permission setting from sugar crm just now...
Please give us a hint, because our company like your CRM software solution!
Kind regards,
Oliver Wolff
