Just adding this post to make sure how the Campaigns work. We have set up a Marketing Campaing of type Newsletter to run weekly.
I this campaign we have three Target list

a) Target List of objectives
b) Test List
c) Opted out list of type Suppression by Id.

We have run our first Newsletter and already have targets in our Opted out list that wish to get removed from our Newsletter distribution.

I have added a member of the Test List in the Opted out list also , and send a Test Mail after it. My surprise is that this member of the Test List, which is also included in the Opted Out list is still receiving the Newsletter. My understanding was that all the members of the Opted Out list would not receive new mails from the Campaign, but seems it is not working correctly.

We want to make sure how it works, as we would not like to disturb these targets again, now that they have got unsubscribed.

Does anyone see something we are doing wrong?, is there a final step that we are missing, or just to make sure 100% what we have to do is to remove the mails that are now in the Opted Out list, from the Target List?

Our installation is a SugarCRM CE 5.2.
