Can anyone tell me whether SugarCRM can be used for manufaturing firm for maintaining the manufacturing process aswell as shipping the manufactured products to the destination.

Many things are possible with Sugar.

There aren't any specific industries for which you can't use it, but your specific needs may require more customization work than that of other's or vice-versa.

Really, it is just a matter of clearly defining what it is you want to accomplish and then examining your options, whether it be customizing Sugar or using a different product. It is a matter of figuring out what will fit into your specific parameters, including the amount of investment you want to make.
