Marketing Emails don't happen

I believe I am following all the steps to send emails however when I click the final step, Send, nothing happens. I would have expected to see some progress but even after waiting a day, there is none. And the status screens don't help. Nor does the Diagnostics.

I get the impression that a Cron job or something needs to be set up to make this work. Is that right? And, if so, how does one go and set this up and why is there no documentation on this in the instructions?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi,

The Marketing Emails from a Campaign are sent using the Scheduler. When you create your Email Marketing Template for the campaign you specify a Start Date & time. Once everything is complete and you press hte Send Emails button, they are queued for sending.

The scheduler (Run Mass Email Campaigns) manages the sending of the Emails, which is turn is run by your crontab job.

Hmm, I seem to have all that handled, but still nothing. And no error messages. And there is nothing showing in the Email Queue. The schedule was set to start yesterday but still no action. Any further suggestions? Thanks
