Mass Emails and Scheduling (4.5.1h)

Hi!

I have sugarcrm 4.5.1h running and would like to send mass emails. Everythings works fine, except scheduling. When I schedule an E-Mail Marketing in my Campaign for sending at a specified time (ie. 2:00 pm) the emails show up in Admin -> Manage E-mail Queue but they are not sent. If I manually press the 'Send Queued Campaign E-Mails'-Button, sugarcrm sends the E-Mails immediately.

I did set up a cronjob for cron.php, and it is executed:
Sep 17 14:05:01 host /USR/SBIN/CRON[18401]: (root) CMD (cd /var/www/4.5-1h; php -f cron.php > /dev/null 2&>1)

I also created a scheduler who executes function::runMassEmailCampaign every minute and 'Diagnostics' says it is active.

It would be really great if anyone could give me a hint here.

Hello Wolfgang,

check in Admin-->Scheduler-->Run Nightly Mass Email Campaigns. The default scheduler time for this option is set to run on the hour from 2AM-6AM. So when you set your email marketing item in your campaign to 2:00PM, all the emails are sent to the queue because they are now waiting until 2AM to send out.

You might want to modify this option to a wider time range so that you emails are sent out based on the time you determine in the email marketing. The 'Job Log' submodule will display the times the scheduler last ran so you can also tell the times it runs. Make sense?
