Mass (and I mean MASS) delete

I have noticed when using the Mass Delete Feature (such as in Leads) that it will do the entire page. Well the page consists of 20 leads. What if someone has 2000 leads and wants to delete around 1,000 of them? What would the process look like? I assume that you can somehow delete more than 20 leads at a time successfully. If so, how? Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, you have correctly spotted that Sugar does only MASS delete the number of records that you see on the page.

But the 20 records that Sugar shows you, is only the default setting.
If you want to delete or update a bigger number of records you can simply change the default to
100 or 200 records for example. Then you can quickly update or delete even quite high numbers of records.

If you need to delete huge number of records like > 10,000 then its usually easier to access the database directly.
If you access the database directly then you can of course update or delete as many records as you want in one go.
But accessing the database can only recommanded for people with some experience with databases.
