mass update with advanced search

I don't know if it is a bug or a system limitation but is happening when i am doing a massive update with an advanced search in account module.
I filter, with a custom field, my records.
My records are more than the list can show, I am selecting all of them,and when i am pressing the next button the search looses the filter and is giving me back all the account records again.

As i said it works correctly if i use as a filter the username.

I haven't found something similar to the bug section. So am i doing something wrong? Is it possible to select all the records without have to press the next button?

I use Sugar 4.5.1 OS
Sentos 4.4
Mysql 5

I am having the same problem.

I have a series of custom check box fields for contacts.

Although the search works on the Advanced Search tab and I can scrolls through the sections (e.g. 1-20, 21-40, 41-60 etc) as soon as i select a record the search gets reset.

Is there any solution to this?
