    Default Mass Update through MySQL

We are about to provide offline access to a large number of users for one of our clients. I am very new to this process and was advised that setting this up would require going into each users' profile and making an edit to allow them access to the offline client.

This would be no big deal if we're talking a couple of users, but that is too time consuming when setting up dozens, if not hundreds, of users. I am thinking I should be able to run a SQL command through a script that should accomplish the same thing. However, I am very, very new to Sugar and don't know if that is feasible or not.

    Would appreciate any input.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Yes, it is possible to do it via the backend, but assumes you have it installed on site, as opposed to on deman, unless you have access to the MySQL server at your provider.

I would firmly beleieve that the flag is the least of your isses but rather pushing an offline client isntallation to all the users PCs. Setting the flag via SQL tools is a mater of minutes but as indiacted requires direct DB access.

Yet I am surprised by your question since I would asume somebody brave enough to link hundreds of users to the offline client would hopefully be deep enough into the product to not ask such a question.
