massive amount of data? slow

Hi there

I have about 1mil accounts and 4 mil contacts.

When i go into the accounts and contacts screen and there is somethis in the search panel everything is ok.
When searcing by customer or account number everything is still 100%.

My problem begins when someone presses clear and it tries to bring the whole 4 mil back?
How can i prevent this and only let it bring everythid in listview if asked for everything?

Did you try to set the big tables and their _cstm tables to InnoDB mysql Engine?
