Is it me? Are popup display reminders flakey?

Hi,

I'm getting a lot of users claim that the javascript popup reminders for the calendar tasks, meetings and calls are behaving intermittently. It's not just the 'being off of the page' issue - it seems to sometimes happen when folks are keeping the browser window in the forefront.

Linux/Ubuntu 5.10
SugarCRM Pro 4.2.1
Apache 2.0.54
PHP 4.4.0
MySQL 4.1.12

We were having the same problem, in v4.2.1, some users would get the popup reminders, others just wont, and some are poping up occasionly.

On my previous windows stack, I would always get the popups, but now that we got a linux box, I seam to have problems with them, but it could also just be the fact that there is much more users now with different configurations.

One thing you have to make sure is to check the box in the user admin section Display reminders?
