    What is the use of Case Macro?

    Hi,

    In Admin --> Inbound email settings. Case Macro Availble in that part. More information i have attached the screen shot also.

    Ah, ramji123, I should have known.

    This "macro" specifies the Sugar Case number that is embedded in the Subject line of an inbound email.

    By specifying the placeholder of '%1', which is represented by an actual Case number, like '44444', then the system is able to associate an email about case #44444 to a case record within Sugar.

    So, if a customer sends you an email containing the subject: "Subject: 44444" based on your screenshot, Sugar will associate the email with a Sugar case with a Ccase Id of 44444.

    Does this make sense?
