    Default Media Temple

    OS: linux
    sugar version: Sugar 5.2.0h
    server: Apache 2.0
    php: 5.2.6
    mysql: 5.0.45

I'm installing sugar on the media temple dedicated virtual hosting and I am having 2 problems.

First, I am getting this message:

The session.save_path setting in your php configuration file (php.ini) is not set or is set to a folder which did not exist. You might need to set the save_path setting in php.ini or verify that the folder sets in save_path exist.

My php.ini file specifies that sessions are stored in /var/lib/php/session
While this file requires root access, I checked it and it does exist. My other php applications are running fine.

My second problem is that I am getting this message:

Please fix the following module directories and the files under them before proceeding:
    /modules/ModuleBuilder/tpls

I've applied 777 to this directory and all of its subdirectories and files but i'm still getting the same message

    Update the session.save_path to /tmp
Restart the apache and try again.

Thank you, that solved the first problem! I'm still having a problem with this part though:

Writable Modules Sub-Directories and Files Warning: Not Writable
Please fix the following module directories and the files under them before proceeding:
    /modules/ModuleBuilder/tpls

I just rechecked the hosting but everything is 777 in the directory /tpls including files. Any ideas?
